More good news!
I got another phone call from the vet this morning. Olive did great over night. They'd left 1/4 a can of wet food for her and she ate it all of it during the night as well as FINALLY! used her litter box

Her IV tubes were also all pulled around and a mess, so the vet thinks she was really active during the night which is a great sign as well!
her temperature is up a little bit, about 1 degree, so they are going to keep her till the end of the day, make sure her temperature doesn't go up any higher, and I will go get her about 4pm or so!

I also started to receive your donations to my account and will be able to pay roughly 60% of the cost today!
Thank you so much everyone! I had only about 50$ left in my pocket when went to bed last night, so it was an overwhelming relief to wake up to.

As for the remaining cost of the surgery. I did explain, to the vet, that I received funding via GoFundMe and am waiting for funds to be deposited. As a result, I will write the vet a check for the remaining amount which will be deposited sometime in the near future, after the proper amount of funds are in my hands.

I can't say this enough, so thank you so much everyone for every cent, share, hug, well wish, just everything!
I, literally, could not have done this without you!

Update 9/11: got off the phone with the Vet a few minutes ago, Olive made it through the night AOK. She still isn't showing interest in solid food, but she did lick a little bit of wet food off a spoon! So it's progress! I'll be going to visit her at 4pm <3 They're unsure, yet, if she'll be able to come home today.

Update: I was told, by the vet, that if I didn't receive a call tonight that everything was A-OK with Olive and she's recovering fine. It's 2am and I haven't heard anything ;w; I think I can maybe get some sleep tonight, if I'm lucky.
I was told I would definitely get a call tomorrow morning regarding her condition, so once I hear back from her tomorrow, I will update again!

Update: I just received an update that Olive is out of surgery! She is coming out of sedation and is responsive.

In a short summary. We caught it just in time. ;u;

They opened her stomach and found a small tail of thread that went down into her intestines. They then made some small openings in places in her intestines, removed and were able to remove a few threads and in one place - a giant wad.
Luckily, her insides were only red and swollen, but she'll need to be watched over the next few days to make sure that the inflammation goes down and there isn't any infection.
Hoping and Praying this is all the surgery my little girl has to go through <3

Update! Beka-Lyse has gracious donated a beautiful piece of Sailor Moon inspired artwork of Olive to be included as an additional raffle prize for wanting to participate. the winner will receive an 8X10 print of the image.  There will now be two raffle winners, first will get a choice of the quilt or the print.

has been left at the Riverside Cat Hospital and will receive surgery this afternoon.
The cost of the surgery is more than I expected. $1034.87(if it's just taking string out) to $1355.00(if they have to remove pieces of intestine) was the estimate I received.
I put a down payment, and left her there
The doctor said that she would perform the surgery this afternoon and said that since the surgery is so late in the date, that she would take Olive home with her and watch her over night.

I am expecting a call either while they're performing the surgery (if they find out anything else) or after (if it all goes well)

Olive is facing emergency surgery to open her stomach/intestines and remove thread she'd eaten right off my sewing machine  
Saturday morning I woke up to find various spot of vomit around my house. Harry is prone to hairballs, so I figured it was that, cleaned it up and went on my day.
Later that evening I noticed Olive hadn't been her usual self and had been laying on my bed by herself all day. I went to pick her up and she immediately began to wretch and vomit, and for the next day, the vomiting continued.
I was able to get her a vet appointment Monday where they found thread wrapped around her tongue and going into her stomach. They cut it free but were unable to pull all of it out.
They Xrayed her belly and were at least able to confirm that she hadn't eaten a needle and there were not perforations to her stomach or intestines at the moment.
However, upon returning home, she still has shown no interest in food or poo'd in the litter box. This means she hasn't eaten or poo'd in 4 days
She is drinking water in small amounts and has pee'd, but that's it.
She's still extremely tired, and has just been quietly curled up on my bed all day - which may sound normal for some cats - but this is not normal for her. She's very much an attentive, active, attention seeking kitten. 

I was told that if she hadn't improved, they would need to open her up and remove the thread as well as investigate and make sure the thread hasn't damaged an of her insides. They said that thread can act like a tiny little saw in a kitties intestines, that as it gets pulled along, if it's caught somewhere, as the muscles continue to try and pull it, it cuts into the walls of the intestines, and if it gets to that point - the chances of survival are slim. They said the Xray didn't show any signs that that was going on - yet. 
But the fact that she's not improved, and not poo'd, has me facing an 800$-1000$+ surgery to avoid that fate. 
The veterinarian has a very strict full payment policy, so I'm doing what I can to try and scrounge together the money.


I haven't had much luck with selling dolls, and have had so many flaky buyers, that I do not have the patience to deal with.
I need money yesterday - to put it simply.
I can't do layaways, I can't wait till your pay day.
