This one is a bit similar to the one I did previously, so I passed, but eh - I have nothing to do XD

1. If you could offer one bit of advice to your past self when you were getting into the hobby, what would it be?

I'd give myself a massive list of people who ruined the hobby for me over the years and tell myself to avoid them.

2. How do you go about picking out dolls? Do you approach it from a collectors perspective? Buy for characters? Grab the pretty ones?

Usually it's a bit of impulse, I usually will have money to buy a doll, look around and something will catch my eye, and then I'll go buy it :3

Like Loolooz impacted me getting a Claude, my local friend's mnf woosoo convinced me I needed one and similarly, playing with her pukifees made me really miss my own, so I got Nilla.

I always thought toshiro-sthlm 's Bao was gorgeous and she made me want a Mari, so when she sold her, I had to have her.

Jasmine was just pure impulse. I wanted a big minifee and F65 chloes were pretty, same goes for Meadow, my chalco, he was pretty so I just had ot have him (I love that my most expensive dolls are the biggest impulses *shakes head*)

3. What is the purchase you are the most happy you made? Which do you regret the most?

Jasmine has definitely made me the happiest. Absoultely every time I look at her, I'm still smitten. She's my perfect doll.

Regretted the most... I dunno, I've bought several dolls where I look back and I'm just like.... I never did anything with that doll...

My littlefees, my souldoll girl (still LOVED her body, but the head wasn't for me), both my delf and mnf DES. Just a lot of dolls that I got because I thought they would be fun, but nothing I had any plans for, and, as a result, they fell apart.

4. If you could own any doll (not from a company but from someone you're a fan of) Whose doll would it be? Why?

Oh god... own friends' dolls?

I've actually already owned a few!!

Original Fiasco, Original Meadow, Jinny, Tawny.... *totally forgetting other dolls* 8D - all used to belong to frappzilla

Of dolls I don't actually own, there are still many more I'd lovingly babysit if their dolly mommy's would ever need a babysitter ;) (Wink)

5. Do you have any other hobbies? If so how have they been affected by your entering into the BJD hobby?

Web design/development/programming - Sorta? Ive had a few doll related web adventures that started and flopped... BJDU, Jointed, RagsToResin, etc
Drawing - Nope XD Not at all
Writing - Dolls sort of jump started this for me. I've always had stories, but nothing I've ever written down.

6. Do you have any pets? Do you trust them around your dolls?

You guys know my furbabies <3 Harry and Olive - and for the most part, yes. As long as the dolls aren't sitting/standing where they can fall over. Olive used to occasionally nip at fingers, but she's learned that that's not acceptable.

And Zoe, my gecko, not anymore, ever since she once pooped on a wig XDDDD Had to throw that out. good thing it was just a cheap fur!

7. Do you do anything creative involving your dolls? [Sewing, photography, faceups, etc.]

NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

Not so much in the current, but over all, those are my two main things I do with them.

8. When did you first discover BJDs? How long was it between the time you found them and the time you got your first doll?

2006-07ish. I found pullips (specifically pullip Nina) the summer of 06. I got my first pullip in February of 08, and my first BJD (my AOD Wang Zi) in September 08 :) (Smile)

9. Do you take part int he BJD community on a local or global scale? Do you prefer to keep it between close friends, enjoy it by yourself or chat with the whole community?

I take part in both. I love connecting with everyone all around the globe :) (Smile)

It's great to say I have friends from almost every continent (IS ANYONE IN AFRICA?! THAT'S THE ONE IM MISSING, aside from the obvious Antarctica XD)

10. What're your long term plans for the hobby? Where do you see yourself in five years?

I haven't really made future plans, aside from one day I'd love to just have a big gorgeous well lit room with a beautiful cabinet to display all my dolls STANDING. *dreams on*
