I think they're for all ages, but not for all kinds of people, because I do not think that a lawyer, who is very strictly into what he's doing, would want one and play with it. XD Unless he's an oddball, but usually they aren't.
I have one, because I like tech stuff that lets you do many things, or that lets you take care of it. Give me a Tamagotchi and I'll be your best friend, basically. XD
But anyway, trust me, they're not nearly as scary as they were back in 1998. The 1998 ones didn't move too much, so that was kinda scary, they were louder and they sounded scary when saying 'Yuuuummm'! XD And the eyes didn't move much.... But this new one has a lot of expressions.
If you know someone with a new Furby, ask them if you can try it out for a bit.
If you pet it a lot, it will get to be cutesy!
